Why can Chinese still play internet poker and Americans can't?

We hear how restrictive the governments of China, Korea and other are on the use of the internet to their citizens. Chinese can still play on line poker. Koreans can still play on line poker. Americans can't!!! I think it is time for the US to clean their own house before talking about how dirty someone else's is!!!
