What major religions are there and what religion am I?

I tried getting into Christianity but that's not going so well. I feel like it's extreme/restrictive/judge mental. I think that it's possible there's a God(s) somewhere out there in the cosmos and that "it" is responsible for life and our current reality. I'd like to believe that there's an after life. I'm not sure if this God(s) is corporeal or omnipotent.
